We proud to announce our new name, Marigold Montessori!

Urban Village Montessori is excited to share that we’ve joined the Wildflower Network of Montessori Schools! We chose to join the network because their 9 principles align with our vision and will enable us to better serve our families and our city. We’re thrilled to be part of this innovative organization.

As a result, we have taken on a Wildflower name. We chose Marigold because of its important role in “companion planting.” We feel this aligns with our mission because marigolds are planted together with other very different plants (say, tomatoes) as a natural way to make these plants grow more successfully. This parallels our philosophy of bringing together diverse children/families so that everyone benefits and becomes stronger – it’s an organic, real-world approach.

Montessori Early Childhood Education to Empower Families and Strengthen the Haverhill Community DSC06537

We welcome you to imagine with us….

  • all young children in Haverhill having access to a high quality Montessori education
  • students from diverse neighborhoods coming together to learn and grow
  • Haverhill’s youngest citizens ignited with the love of learning and a desire to positively impact their community
  • our city working together like a village to empower young children to be successful in later schooling and life

It takes a village, so become part of our vision.
